Which do you like better? Why?

I'm getting a new thingy and am having a bit of a hard time choosing between the two. I hate windows for the fact they never seem to do things right, they are coming out with a new platform but it doesn't look like much has changed from vista. But I've always used windows.

I'm torn between the price of the laptop I would want with MAC and the desktop I could get with them for cheaper.

I will be using it for my photography and school so it needs to be a nice computer.


So any suggestions?

Well plans from my last entry have changed, quite a bit. I start school in about a week and will be doing that for awhile. It is still unclear if I am going to be doing the Army as of yet. They said I would go in January, which would put me gone for the kiddos 3rd Birthday, which I don't want. Also I can have my Associates degree in 20 months, so I could go in as an officer if I wait a bit longer. Sounds great to me! But we will have to see how school goes, and how everything falls into place. I hate being broke, doesn't everyone? I just hope things get better here soon, it really does suck.

So yea, going to school again, we will see how this all goes

Ten Reasons Gay Marriage is Un-American

I saw this posted on a BBS — there was no attribution.

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.
7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.
9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

So things are going along. I have a ton of photos I should go through and upload, but I'm lazy Life is a bit intense. My younger brother is going through a divorce, I'm going to be enlisting. So I will use my brothers shitty situation to help me, and help him of course. That is if he agrees... He is on his way home from TX to CA right now and I will get to talk to him tomorrow about my plan. I might have a friend to join with me, would be super awesome! If he agrees, he will move in and watch my son while my husband is at work. I would pay him of course, he could save his money (living with me rent free of course) and he could buy a car. If he chooses to join himself he can save his money till after basic then buy an even awesomer car! If not, he can stay here and go to school, or move back home and go to school. My dad wants him to do school rather the military, he doesn't want me to do it either, but he has no choice in it. We make fine money, we are able to pay our bills, but I want to be better the that. I want to be able to buy new things when I want not, not when we have saved up for 4 months. This will make holidays, and traveling to see family way easier to do.
I would also be able to get a second car, which makes me super happy. So tomorrow I'm going to see the recruiters and talk to them about when I can ship and blah blah (next month(October)would be great) There are three jobs I was looking at, animal care, paralegal, and pharmacist. So depending it would either be 20 weeks of training, 19 weeks of training, or 28 weeks of training... They are in order of my top choice So it would mean leaving my family for that long.. which blows, but I would have a better job then I could get outside of the Army (having no college degree). Plus all these jobs would make it easy to transfer to when I get out, and they make good money.
So my house will be a Bachelor pad for awhile. I will have my husband, son, brother and two roommates. Man, I can see the crazy stripper parties now... lol So this is a very real idea, I just need to work on doing sit-ups, lets see if I can do one, I did 3! lol. So I will try to add one more every day.. I should be good by the time I'm set to go. IF anyone has good ideas how to get it up faster/easier freaking let me know!

I got my nipples done Monday! Whoot, it wasn't to bad. The first hurt a little more then the second but it wasn't horrible like I thought it would be. The in-laws are gone to and thank god! I was ready to kill them. Nothing worse then having someone come into your house and disrespect you. Fuck that shit. I'm a little sick, I just feel like crap all around. Took my friend to his court hearing today all went well, lets just hope he stays out of trouble. When I get around to it I will upload a photo of my nipples, all I have right now is a crappy cell phone picture. One day closer to the puppies leaving! Can't wait, will be nice to have it quite at night. So yea.
